They're an eco-friendly item, as they're highly reusable. Whatever name is scrawled on them can be removed at the end of the day (or at any other time) and replaced by another. This allows them to be used by multiple people whenever needed. They easily attach to a shirt or apron via a classic jeweler's locking pinback attachment.
