Each of these promotional twist pens with highlighters has a wide plastic barrel that is white. The white background really helps logo imprints of most any color to stand out and be more prominent. Yellow trim adds some color to the picture, while the black rubber grip adds comfort and security while using the pen. 

The included pen is of the ballpoint variety and writes in medium point black ink. It’s a twist pen, so a turn of the barrel acts to extend and retract its tip. The highlighter is located at the other end and writes in bright yellow. It’s kept moist and prevented from making accidental markings by way of a transparent cap.

However, an upgrade fee grants access to options such as a second imprint color as well as a second logo design area on the clip. An added element of longevity comes from the fact that the ink cartridges are refillable. Therefore, when the ink runs out, more can be added so that the pens need not be discarded.
